Neuromodulation - NESA®
Supporting the nervous system to come back to harmony, recalibrate and restore balance, gently and non-invasively, while generating new optimal neural pathways.
“A science-informed neuromodulation therapy designed to support balance, regulation and recovery within the nervous system”
What is Neuromodulation (NESA®)?
Neuromodulation using NESA® technology is a non-invasive therapy designed to support communication within the nervous system, through an extensive range of scientifically validated programmes, which enable us to personalise this treatment for deep lasting change.
It uses very low-level electrical microcurrents, delivered through surface electrodes, to provide consistent, gentle signals to the body. Sessions are passive and deeply relaxing, allowing the nervous system to respond and integrate at its own pace.
While we utilise NESA for emotional dysregulation this profound therapy can support a whole range of musculoskeletal issues as well.
At FLOW, Neuromodulation (NESA®) is offered as part of a bespoke support protocol, always guided by safety, consent and individual need.
Supports nervous system regulation
Reduce emotional & physical overwhelm
Generates new neural pathways
Supports intergration with other therapies
Why does it help?
When the nervous system has been under sustained pressure, whether through stress, illness, trauma or ongoing demands, it can become stuck in survival mode. This may affect sleep, mood, emotional regulation, energy levels, overall capacity and create physical ailments.
Neuromodulation works by offering the nervous system a consistent, calming signal. This can help restore balance between activation and rest, supporting the body’s ability to regulate itself rather than remaining in a state of high alert.
Neuromodulation – NESA® may help:
Support nervous system regulation
helping the body move out of prolonged stress responses and towards balanceReduce emotional and physical overwhelm
by calming excessive nervous system activationEncourage rest, recovery and resilience
supporting the body’s natural repair processesSupport integration alongside other therapies
creating a stable foundation for wider support
Rather than targeting individual symptoms, Neuromodulation focuses on the systems beneath them, creating the conditions for clarity, recovery, and regulation to emerge naturally.
Who does this support?
Adults, Young People & Families
Neuromodulation (NESA®) may be helpful for individuals experiencing:
chronic stress or burnout
anxiety or heightened nervous system arousal
sleep disturbance
emotional dysregulation
sensory sensitivity or overload
fatigue or difficulty recovering from stress
cognitive overwhelm or reduced clarity
- Physical ailments
Responses vary, and outcomes are always individual.
When one or more family members are dysregulated, the effects are often shared. Neuromodulation can support individual regulation, which in turn may positively influence wider family dynamics.
