Neurosonic
Supporting the autonomic nervous system to shift from stress activation into restorative balance through low-frequency vibration.
A science-informed, vibration-based therapy designed to support parasympathetic regulation and nervous system recovery
What is Neurosonic?
Neurosonic is a low-frequency vibration therapy delivered through a therapeutic mattress while you remain fully clothed. The carefully calibrated sound frequencies travel through the body’s tissues, supporting communication within the autonomic nervous system (ANS).
Unlike cognitive relaxation techniques, Neurosonic works passively through the body. The nervous system does not need to ‘try’ to relax. Instead, rhythmic vibration encourages a shift away from sympathetic (fight/flight) activation and toward parasympathetic (rest/repair) regulation.
At FLOW, Neurosonic is offered as part of a bespoke protocol, guided by consultation, safety and individual capacity
Supports parasympathetic activation
Reduces stress
and
hyperarousal
Encourages restorative sleep patterns
Integrates well alongside neuromodulation
Why does it help?
Chronic stress, emotional overload and sustained nervous system activation can lead to dysregulation within the ANS. This may present as poor sleep, heightened reactivity, fatigue, muscle tension or difficulty ‘switching off’.
Low-frequency vibration stimulates gentle neuromuscular and autonomic responses, encouraging coherence within the vagal pathways. This supports improved heart rate variability (HRV), a key marker of nervous system resilience and recovery capacity.
Rather than overriding the system, Neurosonic encourages the body to re-access its natural rhythm of activation and rest.
Who does this support?
Adults, young people and families experiencing:
• Chronic stress or burnout
• Sleep disturbance
• Emotional dysregulation
• Anxiety or persistent nervous system activation
• Chronic fatigue
• Fibromyalgia
• Caregiver fatigue
Positioned in the family space (and moveable as necessary), our Neurosonic therapy bed allows parents and caregivers to stay close, offering comfort and reassurance, while noise-cancelling headphones and lavender eye pillows enable deep rest and repair.
What to expect at FLOW
Sessions last between 20–60 minutes depending on need.
Clients lie fully clothed on the Neurosonic mattress in a calm, low-stimulation environment.
Neurosonic may be offered as a standalone session or integrated into a wider protocol.
Suitable for all ages.
30 mins – £45
45 mins – £55
Suitability & considerations
All suitability is discussed during consultation. Neurosonic is non-invasive and gentle, though individual health circumstances are always considered.
